Its our last day here in Cambodia. Will be going home in a few hours. Went to Angkor Wat and bought pasalubong. Tried to look like a Khmer and I think I fail. I look more Abu Sayyaf-ish. Haha. You be the judge.

Its my mom's birthday today. Happy birthday mama! Today we woke up at around 3am to prepare to see the sunrise. Then its a full day of walking at temples. SO FUN! Went to the famous Pub Street at night for dinner. Will be solo flight tomorrow because my friends will go to the capital and I will be left behind. Reflection day. Where to go?

Reading Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Ordered this book from The Book Depository which I will talk about on a separate post. This one is about a boy with facial deformities who still manages to live life despite of everything not so good coming his way. Gonna get inspiration from this.

First of all, happy labor day to all of us hardworking people. Will be spending 5 days here in Cambodia. Would recommend this place if you guys love to know about culture and go to temples and to walk and walk and walk. Not me. Haha. Plus, if you think its super hot in Manila, you are very wrong. I'm sweating buckets here. Good thing I opted to bring comfy clothes. Bad thing is you cannot be admitted to some temples if you wear shorts that is not below the knees and sleeveless tops. Very tired right now. I NEED A MASSAGE!

Strolling

Summer is here and we can already feel the hot climate. Wearing comfy clothes is the way to go. Was contemplating first if I'm gonna go out wearing this look. Not used to showing skin and to tell you, wearing this can really make heads turn especially in our place. And you do not now if its a good thing or not. As long as you feel confident, there will be no need to mind them. One more thing I would like to tell you guys is that I'm fond of sunglasses right now (will not tell you the reason why haha). So expect more looks of me wearing sunnies :)

A Dash of Color

Was invited to do a food review of a restaurant in Tomas Morato and this is what I wore. Muted tones was my style because I am afraid that wearing too much color will show the not so slim parts of me. That's about to change now. The first time I saw this tri-colored raglan shirt at Basic House, I didn't hesitate to get it. It gives this young happy vibe that gives an illusion that I am stressed. Planning to experiment on different shades that will suit me. And Basic House's chinos are perfect fit to me. No need for alterations. I now have a new favorite brand.

 And I am into reading books now so I'll also post what I read alongside with my looks. I started this hobby when the year started. Bought 28 books since and counting. The one I'm reading right now is The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken and its about the life of teenage misfits running away from the government. It's like the modern day X-Men.

Early Summer

It's just the start of the year but it already feels like summer. The friends and I decided to go to Tagaytay   to escape the heat but its still hot there. Haha. In time's like this, you need to wear clothes that will make you feel the most comfortable.

Baby Its Cold Outside

A few hours more and its gonna be Christmas already. What are you up to guys? For us, we'll just celebrate with a simple noche buena. Christmas for me is the best time to say I love you to everyone because it doesn't look or sound awkward. Moving on, here's what I wore to my recent trip at Seoul. It was my first time to see snow that's why this trip is very special to me *sobs. Haha. Didn't expect that the weather there will be super cold. It was a freezing -18 degress Celcius and all the jackets that I have with me don't work. So I bought a thermal jacket which I used for the whole 5 days that I was there. Will show you my whole trip on a different post. Again, Merry Christmas guys!

Random post. Can't even come up with a title. Haha. Feeling much better now. Guess just hanging out with my friends and having food trip with them the whole day made me loose up a bit. Have to enjoy now because I'll be working for long hours in the coming days. It will all be worth it though :)

Brighter Than The Sun

I'm back! Been super busy this past couple of days. Having a lot of me time. Reflecting, planning my life, just thinking a lot. Will not go into detail but right now, I'm having issues with some people around me. Because of them, I'm also questioning the trust of close friends. Are they really friends? Asking myself who should I really trust. Argh. Never imagined that a simple incident can make you so paranoid. Anyway, I know this will be fixed sometime and everything will be OK again. The sun will rise and it will be alright. *cheesy. Stuff like this will make us stronger. Back to work!
