Manila Oceanpark

Our senior manager from Hyderabad visited us this week and treated us a day off at Manila Ocean Park. Didn't expect that place was fun. Thought that the place was just for children. Felt like I was a toddler when I was there applauding at the sea lion show. No photos again. Let the Vine videos show you how much fun we had there. We were planning to do the cruise around Manila Bay too but the currents were too strong. Sayang. 

Thankful

Today (yesterday actually) marks the 4th year of me working in the IT industry. I can say that I have matured professionally (and my hair too) with the help of the people around me whom I consider my friends. There is something in me that wants to do something else but I guess these people are the reason why I'm still here. Been through so many ups and downs but I know that I can overcome all of them because I'm not alone. This entry is not about me but to all whom I shared my journey with. I love you guys! Best Team Building Ever

So we had our company team building somewhere in Laguna and I must say that despite of all the difficulties in booking everything (from the venue, transpo, etc.) we still had a blast. I consider this as the best team building I have experienced. Did a lot of activities. My favorite is the circle of questions where in we ask a personal question and then all of us will answer. It was a good way to know more about my colleagues and of course for them to know more about me. That particular activity should be only for about 30 minutes but it went to about 4 hours because we were really enjoying. I think I'm closer to my current officemates now than on my previous. And of course an outing will not be an outing without booze! 

I didn't get to watch fashion week because of this and I have no regrets. ^_^

Dip in the Water

I'm already 20+ years old and I still don't know how to swim. Tsk tsk. Luckily there are still some too in our office. We decided to have swimming lessons care of Christian. He taught us how to do freestyle. Its my first time to do it thats why I get easily exhausted. According to observations, my problem is with the kicking and breathing but with more practice I will be able to do it perfectly. And if I learn, I'll do this as a regular exercise. It might get rid of my stubborn baby fats. The swimming was also a nice way to escape the raging heat.

*PS: Tried a new camera settings that a friend taught me and it looks so cool (for me at least).

Its called kickboy but I call it cooler lid. Haha.
